Integrations

One platform, few third parties.

Glia is built to be self-contained: scheduling, charting, video, and messaging all live in one system, so most practices don't need to wire it into anything else. Here's what connects in today, and what we're honest about not having yet.

Patient billing: your Stripe account

Glia supports patient billing through Stripe, and we do it differently than most platforms: you connect your own Stripe account. Patient payments land in your bank, not ours. There's no revenue share and no middleman holding your receivables.

What you control:

Video visits: built in

HD video calling is part of the platform, not a bolted-on third-party product. We run the video infrastructure ourselves on self-hosted LiveKit, which means no extra SaaS to contract with, no separate BAA to sign, and no per-minute billing on top of your subscription. In-call chat, priority queue, and waiting rooms are included.

Email & SMS notifications

In-platform messaging between patients and staff is live today. Automated email and SMS notifications (appointment reminders, missed-call follow-ups, etc.) are on the roadmap. We'll share timing when they're closer. If you need them before you can launch, tell us when you talk to us.

EHR interoperability (FHIR, HL7)

Being honest: Glia does not currently implement FHIR or HL7 import/export. The platform stores allergies, medications, conditions, labs, and imaging studies in structured form internally, but we don't yet speak the standard exchange formats.

If your practice needs to integrate with a hospital system, a lab, or a specialty EHR, we'd want to hear about your specific workflow before promising anything. For most independent practices this isn't a blocker; for some it is.

Migrating from another EHR

We don't have a self-service importer. If you're moving from another system, we'll work with you to bring your patient list, demographics, and core chart data across, typically from a CSV or database export. Reach out early so we can scope the migration before your cutover date.

Data export & portability

Bulk data export is not currently available as a self-serve feature. If you need a full extract (for backup, migration, or any other reason), we'll produce one for you on request. Ownership of your data is not something we make you ask twice for.

Don't see what you need? Most "we don't have it yet" items on this page are genuinely on the roadmap, not permanently off the table. Tell us what matters for your practice at hello@glia.health and it helps us prioritize.
